March 31, 2023 – HighCamp Compliance, a boutique employee owned and operated compliance consulting and outsourcing firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joyce Martineau as a Director. Based in Lewes, Delaware, Martineau brings significant private equity and private credit expertise to the HighCamp team and its client base.
“We are thrilled to welcome Joyce to the team. Joyce not only brings a wealth of experience and expertise in private fund compliance to our team, but also embodies the core values and culture that define our organization,” said HighCamp’s Brad Burgtorf, Founding Partner. “Her passion for collaboration, commitment to high quality service, and dedication to building strong relationships align perfectly with our vision for HighCamp’s future.” Martineau joins HighCamp from Anchorage Capital Group, a large private credit manager. As Director of Compliance she was involved in all aspects of the adviser’s regulatory compliance and ESG programs.
The addition of Martineau further illustrates HighCamp’s strong professional network and ability to attract top talent. Most of HighCamp’s team, advisory board, and now Martineau, have been working together in roles at either the SEC or ACA Group since as early as 2003. “As we approach our 6th anniversary, HighCamp remains committed to building a brand that retains the best people and supports the top private fund managers,” Burgtorf added. “Joyce moves us closer to that goal.”
Before her time at Anchorage Capital Group, Joyce was a Senior Principal Consultant at ACA Group where she spent five years advising a diverse group of clients on a wide range of compliance issues. Prior to that, Martineau was a Compliance Officer at investment advisers Och-Ziff Capital Management Group (now Sculptor Capital Management) and Tudor Investment Corporation. Joyce began her compliance career as a member of FINRA’s Advertising Regulation Department.
“HighCamp has an exceptional six-year track record servicing top-tier managers,” stated Martineau. “I’m excited to return to consulting and work alongside a collaborative team and support great clients.”
